Admissions Requirements
Before you can apply to and/or start in our ABSN program, you must:
- Have completed a minimum of 62 non-nursing college credits or have a non-nursing bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Meet all prerequisite course requirements.
- Meet all university technical standards.
Just so you know, you can apply to the program with up to two prerequisites still outstanding.
Northeastern University’s ABSN Charlotte Student Scholarship
In response to North Carolina’s mounting nursing shortage, Northeastern University Charlotte created a special ABSN Scholarship to encourage more individuals to enter the profession. Every new student who is admitted into our Charlotte ABSN program automatically receives a $26,000 scholarship from our university to help pay for their nursing education.
