ABSN Program Requirements
While no nursing experience is necessary, we require that you meet specific academic requirements before applying to our ABSN program.
- A minimum of 62 non-nursing college credits or a non-nursing bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of prerequisite courses within grade specifications.

Northeastern University’s ABSN Student Scholarship
To assist with program costs, Northeastern University’s ABSN program offers scholarships to newly admitted students.
Greater Boston, MA Location
Upon admittance, new students automatically receive a $15,000 scholarship, dispersed into $3,750 each semester over four semesters.
Charlotte, NC Location
Every new student who is admitted into our Charlotte ABSN program automatically receives a $26,000 scholarship from our university to help pay for their nursing education. Some students will receive an additional $10,000 based on educational background.
