ABSN Program Requirements
While no nursing experience is necessary, we require that you meet specific academic requirements before applying to our ABSN program.
- A non-nursing bachelor’s degree or at least 62 college credits from an accredited institution.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Completion of prerequisite courses within grade specifications.

Northeastern University’s ABSN Student Scholarship
To assist with program costs, Northeastern University’s ABSN program offers scholarships to newly admitted students.
Boston Location
Upon admittance, new students automatically receive a $12,000 scholarship, dispersed into $3,000 each semester over four semesters.
Charlotte Location
Every student who is admitted into our Charlotte ABSN program automatically receives a $26,000 scholarship from our university to help pay for their nursing education.
